On Wednesday 22 December Public Service Commission advised Together that the Chief Executive Leadership Board had approved a framework for determining vaccination requirements in Queensland public service workplaces at its meeting on Monday 20 December.

Together had raised concerns about the proposed framework at the meeting with central agencies on Friday 17 December and some of these feedback had been accepted by the employer.
Together is continuing to engage with individual departments and agencies on how each individual employer is managing the workplace health safety risks caused by the pandemic which will require a range of responses in 2022 irrespective of any decision by employers to mandate vaccinations for their employees.
